Global Church for a Global World
In April I attend the Global Church for a Global World (www.gcgw.org) Conference in Hong Kong. This conference was the first attempt to bring all evangelical international churches together in one place. I attended along with the men’s ministry leader from my church, Kurt Gilje.
MICN (Missional International Church Network), CIF (China International Fellowships) and FEIC (Fellowship of European International Churches) joined together to host this first-ever global conference. The groups’ passion for the church to effectively engage the under reached and unengaged resonates across nations, denominations and organizations with growing intensity.
We had the incredible opportunity of listening to Ravi Zacharias, Os Guinness, and Rodney Woo (formerly a pastor in Houston who now pastors in Singapore) address leaders of international churches from around the world.
In addition, I was incredibly honored when I was asked to lead one of the seminars on leadership at GCGW; getting to serve my peers in this way was a wonderful extension of FMI’s ministry of equipping church leaders around the world.
